01 · TRAINING REQUIREMENT
Define the Real Problem
Real coaching sessions showed that the athlete and coach needed a clearer way to return to the same moment.
OUR STORY
Ray Chang | Former Professional Baseball Player & Coach
After moving from professional baseball into coaching, Ray recognized the limits of watching from the sidelines. BIVDIKO’s sports glasses capture training from the athlete’s perspective, giving coaches another way to understand each moment. Together, athletes and coaches can review the footage in the App, identify areas for improvement, and discuss what to work on next. Because recording is only the beginning—the value comes from learning together.
01 · THE REAL BEGINNING
Baseball grew from a childhood interest into years of training and competition. Along the way, the founder repeatedly saw how difficult it could be for an athlete to understand exactly what a coach had seen from the sideline.
That observation became the founder’s mission: help athletes and coaches return to the same real moment, see it from a shared perspective and turn feedback into something useful for the next session.
NEXT → Was this only one family’s experience—or a real training problem?
02 · THE MISSING PERSPECTIVE
In traditional training, both people experience only one side of the same action. The athlete feels the timing but cannot see the full movement. The coach sees the mechanics, but cannot see exactly what the athlete saw when the decision was made.
Without a shared point of view, feedback can be difficult to explain—and difficult to understand.
NEXT → The question needed professional training experience—not another assumption.
03 · PROFESSIONAL VALIDATION
Ray Chang—Professional Baseball Coach and BIVDIKO Product Advisor—helped explain why athletes and coaches can interpret the same action differently, and why the value is not another camera angle but a clearer coaching conversation.
NEXT → The idea made sense in conversation. Would it work in real training?
04 · REAL PRODUCT EXPERIENCE
Hands-on product experience helped test whether the shared point of view could stay natural during movement and produce useful material for the next coaching conversation.
NEXT → Real use turned the question into a development path.
05 · THE DEVELOPMENT JOURNEY
The product evolved through a real question, early concepts, hardware prototypes, App development, field use and direct feedback.
01 · TRAINING REQUIREMENT
Real coaching sessions showed that the athlete and coach needed a clearer way to return to the same moment.
02 · FIRST SYSTEM CONCEPT
The idea moved beyond a standalone camera toward capture connected to review and communication.
03 · HARDWARE DEVELOPMENT
The hardware evolved toward compact first-person recording and open-ear awareness.
04 · APP DEVELOPMENT
The App became the software core for sessions, analysis, communication, saving and sharing.
05 · GLASSES + APP INTEGRATION
The glasses and App became one connected workflow.
06 · FIELD TESTING & ITERATION
Real training continues to reveal practical needs and improve the next session.
06 · THE SYSTEM TODAY
The wearable stays focused on natural first-person capture. The App becomes the software core for organizing sessions, intercom, analysis, comparison, saving and sharing.
07 · COMPLETE REAL TRAINING
A complete session shows how capture, review, feedback and the next play connect into one repeatable workflow.
08 · REAL VOICES
Professional coaching insight and real competition experience help identify what athletes need from the system next.
Ray helps test whether the shared point of view supports a clearer training conversation.
Different positions and decisions reveal different capture and review needs.
The value of a reviewed moment is what the athlete can use in the next session.
09 · THE PRODUCT DIRECTION
Today’s product connects wearable capture with an App-centered workflow. The direction ahead is lighter hardware and deeper training tools.
10 · BASEBALL FIRST · MORE SPORTS AHEAD
Baseball is the first complete workflow. The long-term vision is one connected platform that can adapt to cycling, running and more sports.
BUILT FROM REAL USE
BIVDIKO began with one baseball journey. It is growing through real training, real feedback and a connected system designed for more sports.
