OUR STORY

A Player’s Perspective. A Coach’s Insight.

Ray Chang | Former Professional Baseball Player & Coach

After moving from professional baseball into coaching, Ray recognized the limits of watching from the sidelines. BIVDIKO’s sports glasses capture training from the athlete’s perspective, giving coaches another way to understand each moment. Together, athletes and coaches can review the footage in the App, identify areas for improvement, and discuss what to work on next. Because recording is only the beginning—the value comes from learning together.

01 · THE REAL BEGINNING

His Journey Revealed the Question.

Baseball grew from a childhood interest into years of training and competition. Along the way, the founder repeatedly saw how difficult it could be for an athlete to understand exactly what a coach had seen from the sideline.

That observation became the founder’s mission: help athletes and coaches return to the same real moment, see it from a shared perspective and turn feedback into something useful for the next session.

02 · THE MISSING PERSPECTIVE

The Athlete Feels the Moment. The Coach Sees the Movement.

In traditional training, both people experience only one side of the same action. The athlete feels the timing but cannot see the full movement. The coach sees the mechanics, but cannot see exactly what the athlete saw when the decision was made.

Without a shared point of view, feedback can be difficult to explain—and difficult to understand.

NEXT → The question needed professional training experience—not another assumption.

03 · PROFESSIONAL VALIDATION

Professional Insight Helped Define the Real Question.

Ray Chang—Professional Baseball Coach and BIVDIKO Product Advisor—helped explain why athletes and coaches can interpret the same action differently, and why the value is not another camera angle but a clearer coaching conversation.

NEXT → The idea made sense in conversation. Would it work in real training?

04 · REAL PRODUCT EXPERIENCE

Real Use Helped Shape the Product Direction.

Hands-on product experience helped test whether the shared point of view could stay natural during movement and produce useful material for the next coaching conversation.

NEXT → Real use turned the question into a development path.

05 · THE DEVELOPMENT JOURNEY

How the Idea Became a Working System.

The product evolved through a real question, early concepts, hardware prototypes, App development, field use and direct feedback.
